Restaurants are within a short distance of the villa and are inexpensive compared to coastal resorts. Inland there are the cork and pine forests which can easily be accessed by walkers and nature lovers.
Faro Airport is around 20 minutes by car.
The local town is Estoi, which has shops, restaurants and banks and is famous for the Palace do Visconde (The Pink Palace).
For colder months there is an open log fire and electric heaters are available. Maid service and towel change is twice weekly, bedding is once weekly.
